A mild tea from the Spring Side tea garden.
As for many Indian tea gardens there is a touching story linked to Spring Side.
Back in around 1900 Alfred Wathan -manager of the garden- and his wife Mary lost their baby daughter. Around the little girl's grave they created a flower garden to sit at rest after work. The nearby spring was the source of water for the garden and it is said that this spring was a solace for the parents. They found peace there.
