A blend of teas from various gardens of Darjeeling, medium-bodied with fruity and floral notes.
One of the most famous tea regions in the world is without any doubt Darjeeling. The name is allowed for tea grown high in the Himalaya in the districts Darjeeling, Kalimpong and West Bengal.
Unlike most other Indian teas, Darjeeling is usually made from the small-leaved Chinese variety of the tea plant.
When properly brewed, it yields a thin bodied, light coloured infusion with a tempting floral aroma. To avoid bitterness, make sure to remove the leaves from the water in time (max. 3 minutes).
