Dragon Well, a pan-roasted green Chinese tea with a very gentle taste.
One of the legends about this tea says that the emperor Qianlong visited the famous West Lake during a holiday. He went to the Hu Gong Temple under the Lion Peak Mountain. He was served a cup of teat from the bushes in front of this temple. The emperor was so impressed by this tea, that he gave the bushes the imperial status.
Lung Ching, meaning 'Dragon Well' in English, is said to be named after a well containing relatively dense water. The lighter fresh rain water is said to be floating on its surface resembling the movements of a Chinese dragon.
