The Singbulli tea garden, founded by British planters in 1924, is not far from Balasun, on the other side of the river. The garden is spread over nine hills, varying in hight between 370 and 1250 meters. The tea from Singbulli is fair trade and organic.
The first flush from Singbulli has lighter leaves, is very fragrant and slightly more flowery than the Balasun.
