Risheehat literally means "house of the saints". The tea garden was founded in the mid-nineteenth century by British planters and is located on the other side of the Kanchanjangha ridge. The fertile soil and steep slopes provide ideal conditions for the tea plants.
Today, the garden produces organic tea, which is also allowed to carry the fair trade logo.
In this tea you can taste the typical muscatel flavor that makes the First Flush so special. It is also the most flowery of the three First Flush selected by Het Klaverblad from the first harvest of 2021.
